Normandy or the Flower Coast, witness of the D-Day landing, offers a surprising variety of landscapes
Travelling from Paris to Honfleur, the river Seine runs through green Normandy, and we discover this gorgeous Anglo-Norman fishing village. Home of famous impressionist painters, such as Eugène Boudin, the scenery is beautiful with picturesque views of the sandy beaches and harbour. We continue our discovery with the D-Day landing beaches of Omaha, Utah, and the American Cemetery of Colleville sur mer ; it is such an emotion to pay tribute to the fallen heroes, walk on the sand and see the hills with the German bunkers.
